This year’s SG60 National Day Parade is promising to be the biggest yet! With the theme ‘Majulah Singapura,’ the 2025 NDP will celebrate Singapore’s 60th birthday with the National Day Parade extending from the Padang to Marina Bay. This means stunning NDP fireworks displays across both areas, promising some of the biggest NDP fireworks yet. Plus, the festivities will kick off in the lead-up to 9 August with NDP events around Marina Bay, as well as at heartland locations around the island that follow after National Day. What makes this year even more exciting is its SG60 theme, its brand new NDP 2025 theme song ‘Here We Are’, and more provisions in place to accommodate 200,000 more people for NDP 2025! NDP 2025 at the Padang and Marina Bay
There will be two venues to celebrate NDP 2025, the Padang and Marina Bay. While the main NDP parade will be held at the Padang, the shows at both locations will be synchronised, with spectators at both venues experiencing all the highlights at the same time! While the Red Lions perform their iconic parachute down into the Padang, viewers at Marina Bay will get to see naval divers descend into the Bay’s waters. There’ll also be light projections and NDP fireworks across the city for all to see, as well as LED screens at Marina Bay where viewers can watch the live broadcast from the Padang.
Look forward to other crowd favourite programmes such as the State Flag Flypast, the Presidential Gun Salute and more. NDP 2025 will also see the return of the mobile column that’ll showcase military vehicles and assets spanning from the air to the land and sea. This segment will also include an aerial flypast at the Padang and a maritime display at Marina Bay–a first for NDP!
Of course, we’re all looking forward to the show segment. Local icons including Kit Chan, Charlie Lim and Dick Lee will take the stage, presenting four National Anthem-inspired acts. For those at Marina Bay, there’s also a floating stage for expanded parts of the show, so you’ll be able to catch all the excitement in person!
NDP 2025 ticket balloting for the NDP preview and National Day Parade opens on 28 May 2025 at 12pm and closes on 9 June 2025 at 12pm. Note that only Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents can apply. Successful applicants will be notified between 20 to 25 June 2025. You can submit your application here.

NDP Rehearsal dates 2025
The NDP Rehearsals are nearly just as exciting as the National Day Parade itself! After all, you get to see all the action before everyone else. National Day Parade rehearsals and previews usually showcase all the good stuff we look forward to: fighter jets, the Red Lions, NDP fireworks–the whole works! You can also ballot for tickets for the NDP preview, or park yourself at one of our recommended FREE fireworks viewing spots to watch the sky light up!

NDP 2025 Flypasts
If you’re planning to watch the parade from the comfort of your home, good news! You might still catch the state flag flypast and F-16 jets making their rounds in the heartlands. The Fly Our Flag segment is a highly anticipated part of NDP each year, allowing viewers who are unable to attend the parade to still experience the NDP 2025 celebrations by spotting the majestic jets and helicopters in several neighbourhoods across Singapore.
Details of the NDP 2025 flypast have yet to be released, but here’s what happened last year’s two routes: The western route included Woodlands, Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Jurong, and West Coast, while the eastern route will cover Seletar, Sengkang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok, and East Coast. Meanwhile, six F-16 jets made their flypast over locations such as Clementi, Jurong West, Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Woodlands, Toa Payoh, Seletar, Punggol, and Bendemeer.

NDP 2025 in the Heartlands
Every year, Singaporeans look forward to exciting NDP celebrations all over the heartlands during the National Day weekends. This year, NDP 2025 brings the festivities to five heartland locations on 10 August 2025, each with a unique theme. NDP 2025 Heartland celebrations will feature carnival games, family activities, live performances, static displays of SAF, SCDF, and SPF vehicles, and fireworks!
P.S. National flags can be redeemed on the NDP Shop on Shopee from mid-June 2025 onwards! Singaporeans and PRs may redeem the flags for free.

National Day 2025 events
As we’re awaiting more announcements on National Day 2025 events, take a look at what took place last year:
National Day Specials at El Chido
El Chido at Pullman Singapore Hill Street has crafted a special locally-infused menu to celebrate Singapore’s 59th birthday! This National Day, the Mexican-themed rooftop bar invites you to commemorate the nation’s birthday with exciting fusion dishes such as Chicken Rice Chimichanga and Crispy Seafood Otah. There’s also the limited-time sharing Singarita which you can sip on while enjoying the stunning view of the Singapore skyline. On Saturday evenings, you can dine with a backdrop of the NDP fireworks display. Plus, there will be an in-house DJ to keep the vibe festive and an infinity pool for a refreshing dip!

Durian Fiesta at Ellenborough Market Café
What better way to celebrate Singapore’s birthday than by indulging in the nation’s favourite fruit, the durian! For NDP, Paradox Singapore Merchant Court is hosting a Durian Fiesta at Ellenborough Market Café, featuring a delectable buffet spread that highlights the ‘King of Fruits’. Look forward to unique dishes such as Durian Fried Rice and Hokkaido Pumpkin Durian Cream Soup, along with dessert classics like Durian Hazelnut Choux and the signature Durian Pengat. Can’t get enough of durians? Head to the Durian Fruit Bazaar ($138/adult, $50/child), available exclusively for dinner on Thursdays between 18 July and 8 August, and on National Day. Enjoy unlimited servings of fresh durian at Ellenborough Market Café’s alfresco live station overlooking the Singapore River!

National Day Concert @ Gardens by The Bay
The Gardens by The Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert is back for its sixth edition this year, with plenty of activities to celebrate Singapore’s 59th birthday. With the theme ‘Our Home, Our Heart, Our Singapore’, this year’s concert will be headlined by local talent Olivia Ong and will feature plenty of other homegrown talents, including Benjamin Kheng, who sang the NDP theme song! Aside from musical performances, there will also be plenty of exciting activities for the families, including go-kart races, carnival games, and roving acts from stilt walkers and roving jugglers. Stay till the end for the event highlight, where vibrant fireworks fill up the night sky against the gorgeous Supertree backdrop!

Singapore Flyer: National Day Moonlight Flight
Singapore Flyer is celebrating National Day with a special Moonlight Flight, a first-of-its-kind overnight flight! This one-day-only event takes place from 9 August, 11pm to 10 August, 8am. Tickets go for just $25 per person, and Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents born in August can enjoy free entry to the Moonlight Flight with every paying guest! All tickets will also give you free admission to the Time Capsule, an interactive journey that depicts Singapore’s past, present and future. NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations
NTUC will be hosting its first large-scale NDP event as part of the extended National Day Parade celebrations at the Promontory @ Marina Bay. This event, NTUC’s biggest in over a decade, will take place on 3 and 9 August and will consist of live musical performances, a live broadcast of the NDP, the state flag flypast, the “Salute to the Nation” bomb burst by the Republic of Singapore Air Force, the presidential gun salute sail-past, the Total Defence 40 dynamic defence display’s high-speed chase, and a fireworks display. Attendees will receive an NDP fun pack, and there will be a photo booth, interactive installations, and more.

National Day Celebrations at One Punggol
Good news for north-easties, because plenty of National Day celebrations are popping up! Celebrations will take place on two separate days with plenty of activities for the whole family. On 3 August, look forward to various activities, including stage performances, craft workshops that include making your very own Merlion plushies, movie screenings, arcade games and even bouncy castles! There’ll also be a sing-along segment, where you can show your patriotism by singing to your favourite NDP tunes. On 9 August, there’ll be plenty of live screening of NDP. However, the highlight would have to be the State Flag Flypast and the Six F-16s Flypast that’ll pass through the Punggol district!

MAJULAH FIESTA: National Day Celebrations at Singapore Sports Hub
The Singapore Sports Hub brings back its National Day festivities this year with plenty of activities across three weeks! With the theme: ‘Together We Play, As One United People,’ there will be several aspects to ensure everyone’s at their patriotic best. Try a new sport at the Sports Tryouts, or get your groove on at the Majulah Fiesta Fitness Party. You can even bring your furry friends along for Pets Play Day. Some other programme highlights include the Lion City Dance Convention, the Active Health Fitness Challenge, and the live telecast of the NDP, flypast and fireworks on 9 August!
