The Affordable Art Fair is back this 17 – 19 November at the F1 Pit Building. Score free VIP opening party tickets plus download our Art Hunt Map for a fun free kids’ activity at the fair.
In case you’re not already familiar with the Affordable Art Fair (we have been loving it long time!), it’s the world’s leading showcase for affordable contemporary art, with a diverse range of contemporary pieces priced between $100 – $15,000 with the majority of pieces at $7,500 or under. Every piece can be bought and taken home straight away!
Affordable Art Fair
Featuring more than 65 galleries and over 500 artists from Singapore, Asia, and the rest of the world, the Affordable Art Fair showcases works from emerging and recognised artists such as Yeo Shih Yun, Xu Cong an avant-garde artist from Beijing, as well as new artists Fiona Koh, Ross Bonfanti and Fidia Falaschetti. On display is an assortment of contemporary artworks, across a range of styles from abstract to figurative, in paintings, sculpture, photography and new media.
As the name suggests, art here is actually affordable! No remortgaging your house to take home one of these beauties! With 75% of its works priced under $7,500, the fair remains committed to showcasing quality contemporary art that suits every taste and budget. Fresh offerings will include new media such as video and digital installations and a brand new #Spotlight showcase of artists who have never shown at the fair before, which will replace the Under $1,000 Wall from previous editions of the event.
Kids Activity: Art Hunt Map
Our Art Hunt Map is back – it was hugely popular last year and a great way to engage kids with art (whilst allowing mama and dad to admire what’s on the walls). Just download and print the Art Hunt Map in advance and when you’re at the Affordable Art Fair, young art aficionados can track down 6 specially chosen pieces of art by following the treasure map. Kiddos who mark off all 6 will then have a chance to enter our Art Wonderland Giveaway and stand a chance to win:
- Lights Out Shadow Puppet Play kit worth $150 as first prize
- Snow Globe and Canvas Painting classes worth $75 each – two runner-up prizes

Fun Day Out
Browsing art might be high up on mama and daddy’s list but to get little kids inspired by art, after they have done the Art Hunt, take ’em down to the Children’s Art Studio Room C (Level 3) which is where kids can hand in their completed Art Hunt map (at the registration table). At the Children’s art Studio there will also be a range of free fun-filled interactive workshops and art demos for children.
Art Wonderland
With a decade of experience, Art Wonderland‘s highly qualified teachers are recognised in the art education industry; teaching at established venues like Singapore Art Museum, National Museum of Singapore and MOE schools. They are passionate art educators. Students will be learning Art in a tactile and sensorial learning environment where they incorporate Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences into their art curriculum. Integrated learning concepts such as literacy, numeracy and science are woven into the art lessons; encouraging your child’s curiosity and interest in the world.
