Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, likeable hero Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of racing. This threequel is the tale of him getting back to his favourite sport — twists, unexpected turns and lots of action included!

All new characters

Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) teams up with a bevy of new characters to add to the racing fun! Cruz Ramirez is a tech-savvy, unconventional trainer who coaches Lightning McQueen –  a female technician, how cool is that! Jackson Storm is the new kid on the block whose high-tech speed leaves Lightning McQueen rattled and behind. There’s also voice statistical analyst Natalie Certain, business car Sterling, school bus Miss Fritter and voice command assistant Hamilton — voiced by actual Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton!

Believe in yourself – against all odds

Disney/Pixar’s Cars 3 gets to the core of what it means to be a competitor, to believe in yourself when facing what may feel like unbeatable odds. With the next-gen cars being effortlessly fast, Lightning McQueen becomes that aging athlete at crossroads in his career. The film celebrates the sport of racing, both for the old and new, and reminds us why Lightning McQueen loves racing so much. With the perfect mix of everything Cars and an important message about fighting against all odds, we bet your little one is going to love it, mama!

The script is emotional and takes one back to the heart of the original, Oscar-nominated Cars film from 2006, but it’s packed with gripping race sequences, too! Uber-fast new generation cars, with unexpected racing twists are set on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage ever! The film also features action-filled race sequences including a hilarious, eye-popping demolition derby scene – all in a quest to prove #95 isn’t done yet!
