Looking for a nurturing learning environment for your child? International Community School (ICS Singapore), is a Christian international school open to all nationalities and cultures with a big emphasis on community

International Community School (Singapore) (ICS Singapore) is a culturally-rich, small-feel school with a big heart. If you are new to Singapore or looking for a community to be part of, the search stops here. No matter what nationality you are or what your background is, ICS Singapore has a welcoming approach to all families. That’s evident from the wonderfully diverse community comprised of 400 students across 29 nationalities from around the globe. Christian principles are at the core of ICS Singapore. It’s these principles that positively influence each student’s education, while still respecting the religious preferences of the school’s diverse families. Having a good sense of community allows ICS students to contentedly develop their individual potential in all areas – intellectually, academically, socially, and spiritually.

International Community School (Singapore) sense of community

Here’s what makes ICS Singapore such a welcoming community for students, staff and parents alike:

You’ll feel welcome at International Community School

Academically, ICS follows an American curriculum but culturally there’s a real global ethos with families from every nationality and background welcomed with open arms. This extends right on up from the students to the parents. The Parent-Teacher Fellowship, or PTF as it is affectionately called, is the parent association set up to foster school community. Moms and dads of all nationalities make up the PTF. The PTF supports the school by organizing special activities, as well as fostering fellowship between parents and staff to bind the school community.

If you want your child to settle into school and love learning, make friends, and be challenged during these important formative years, having a supportive school community can make all the difference. And it’s not just the students who are happy. Thanks to the weekly PTF activities, mamas have made lasting new friendships and also have sustained old ones. There’s a little saying over at ICS Singapore that the moms who pray together, stay together. That’s exactly the focus of the ICS Singapore Moms in Prayer group, which meets to pray for the ICS Singapore community and be a source of support for each other.

Other ICS Singapore community activities you’ll want to know about include the monthly Bake Sale, organized by the PTF, and the yearly School Carnival. This is a highlight of the school calendar and something that the entire school community looks forward to. These family events keep the community bonded and allow parents to stay connected to their kids’ school life.

The PTF has truly made the difference for many ICS families. Together they make up the caring community grounded in Christian faith.

Affordable school fees at ICS Singapore

ICS Singapore provides an education that is high-quality, but also affordable. Annual school fees for ICS Singapore in 2020 start from $23,155 (this includes the cost for personal technology such as iPads and Chromebooks in the classroom and, unlike many other schools, the cost of four field trips per year), plus the application fee of $2,000. Sounds pretty great, right?

So are you ready to be part of the community? Email the ICS Admissions Team to find out how you can be part of this wonderful welcoming school.
