Sassy Mama Supports: Jani’s Shave-a-thon at Fullerton Hotel Post Bar

Stork’s Nest Singapore creator (and former “That Mama”) Jani Combrink will be shaving off all of her hair to raise awareness for childhood cancer awareness and the wonderful charity StarPals ! Make sure to come along to Jani’s Shave-a-thon and SNS Summer Social evening on 27 June at The Fullerton Hotel, mama!

“Why am I doing this?” says Jani, “Well, mostly because parents embroiled in the battle against childhood cancer need a voice. Parents need to understand that it can happen to anyone, at any time. No one deserves to have cancer, and it isn’t due to anything you’ve done or didn’t do.

“Singapore is a community, and it takes a village to raise our children. This will be a tiny contribution to the fight against childhood cancer, and the wonderful work that StarPals do to support these children and their families. But every little bit helps. If you can’t find good, BE the good”.

In collaboration with TrainingUP, a small husband and wife team aiming to raise awareness for this cause and StarPals, Jani has agreed to go to the next level to get as many donations as she can! The lovely ladies from Expat Hair Studio will also lend a hand (and a razor) to the cause.

The team at the gorgeous Fullerton Hotel Post Bar have been kind enough to donate their space, so please come along to support Jani, meet the SNS team, and have a drink or three at the same time! No RSVPs, just turn up on the evening for some happy hour drinks and dinner if you like, too!

Stork’s Nest Singapore will also be launching a new support group called ‘Parents Coping with Childhood Cancer’; more details to follow, mama.
