The Memory of Water
Performed by local theatre troupe Wag The Dog Theatre, this Olivier award-winning dark comedy tells the story of three sisters who have just lost their mother, then come together at long last for the funeral to unite over shared stories. As their stories unfold, the family strains and their individual demons emerge alongside their alternative versions of the same past, converging to unveil their different perspectives. Tensions arise as they argue over conflicting revelations of the truth but at the end of the day, they are, and remain, family. Be entertained by (and feel the familiarity of) the dark humour in family life and, ultimately, death. Watch for our review coming soon, mama!
