Many experts suggest that building resilience is an essential aspect of childhood. By helping children build resilience, we effectively equip them with the necessary life skills to face the stresses at school, at home or when they’re with their friends. Teaching children resilience from an early age is a great way to help them overcome obstacles as they grow, and give their mental health a positive boost. Wondering how to get started? Sign up for Preschool for Multiple Intelligences‘ (PMI) upcoming webinar!
It will be hosted by Hasnah A. Rahman, the founder of Positive Focus (pictured left), an organisation that aims to empower children and adults with positive habits, with PMI’s founder-director, Dr. Khoo Kim Choo (pictured right) as the guest speaker. The webinar will offer tips on teaching children about resilience and simple exercises you can practice at home. You’ll also be able to ask questions and exchange ideas with the speakers and other participants. Once you’ve registered for the webinar – click here to sign up! – you’ll receive a link to the meeting, which will take place on Zoom. Interested parents are also invited to send an e-mail with any questions they may have about resilience to [email protected].
