Chatuchak Singapore 2023: Thailand’s Open Air Night Market Comes to Turf City (7 Feb – 2 April 2023)

Get ready to get your shop on! Thailand’s famous Chatuchak Night Market – the biggest weekend market in the world – returns to Turf City as Chatuchak Singapore in 2023!

If you’ve read our guide to Bangkok with kids, you’ll know that Chatuchak Market is one of our very favourite places to visit in BKK. With over 15,000 stalls, it’s actually the largest weekend market in the world! Sure you can find all manner of souvenirs, but also clothing, art, delicious food and so, so, sooo much more. So we are excited that Chatuchak Singapore the first Chatuchak night market outside Thailand, will return to our little red dot from 7 February to 2 April 2023!

Chatuchak Singapore Night Market Pop-up: Shopping

The Chatuchak Singapore Market Pop-up will be located at Turf City in Bukit Timah. Sadly they won’t be transporting all 15,000 stalls BUT, there will be a rotating weekly slate of 180 Thai vendors selling handicrafts, fashion, home décor, antiques, and all sorts of other unique goods from Thailand.

There will also be plenty of authentic Thai food and drink stalls (who’s ready for some mango sticky rice?).  Expect everyone’s favourite Banana Roti, Thai Teh Tarik Cha Chak (Thai milk tea), which comes with a tea-pulling performance by the vendor from Thailand’s southern province of Satun, Prawn Vermicelli and Sukolthai Pad Thai, as well as many new interesting dishes found only in Thailand.

Thai-style Chang Beer Garden at Chatuchak Singapore

Chatuchak Singapore will also have a Thai-style Chang Beer Garden offering up to 200 seats for visitors to chillax and take in the atmosphere.
