Chatsworth International School: Academic achievements, classroom renovations

News: Primary classroom refresh + 100% pass rate for IBDP and MYP

During the summer break, Chatsworth International School kicked off Phase One of its Primary classroom upgrades to provide refreshed learning spaces for new and returning students. Tanglin Trust School: School site lease extension, school expansion plans

Tanglin Trust School is excited to announce that the school has been granted a lease extension to remain at its current campus at Portsdown Road until 2056. Canadian International School (CIS) is strengthening its aquatics programme by appointing Alexander Tikhonov as Director of Aquatics. A two-time Olympic swimmer for Russia and former Paris 2024 Olympic coach, Alexander brings more than 20 years of competitive swimming and coaching experience. He has competed in more than 100 events, winning one gold, four silver and three bronze Aqua and Olympic medals, along with multiple national championship titles and World Cup podium finishes. Nexus International School (Singapore): Successful academic results, new principal & more

Nexus International School (Singapore) has announced strong academic achievements among its latest IBDP graduates, who achieved an average score of 35.8. Two students achieved the maximum score of 45, while another two scored 44. On average, students also exceeded their predicted IBDP grades by more than four points. The school’s IGCSE results were equally impressive. Among Edexcel IGCSE grades, 52% were at grades 9–7, equivalent to A*–A, while 48% of Cambridge IGCSE grades were A* or A. Singapore American School: Classroom Without Walls programme

News: Classroom Without Walls (CWW) programme + Admissions events

Singapore American School’s middle school took learning beyond the classroom last September for its signature Classroom Without Walls (CWW) programme, which ran from 14 to 18 September 2026. Traditional classes paused for the week as students headed off campus for experiential learning, adventure and exploration. A total of 964 students participated in the programme, with experiences taking place in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. In Singapore, Grade 6 students visited Changi Village, where they took part in team-building activities while exploring local culture through food and walking tours. They also headed to Pulau Ubin for scavenger hunts and visited Adventure Cove.

Grade 7 students headed to Telunas, where activities emphasised joy and growth through community and cultural engagement. Students connected with local fishermen and explored fishing communities, while also taking part in adventure activities such as deck jumping. They were also introduced to traditional games, music, dance, crafts and cooking, providing opportunities to learn about the local culture through hands-on experiences. For Grade 8 students, the CWW programme focused on adventure and personal growth. Students travelled to Malaysia and Bintan in different groups, taking part in activities such as kayaking, snorkelling and coral reef restoration. They also engaged with small, community-led enterprises, including stingless bee honey production and experimental rice farming. The school is also hosting online and in-person admissions events from now to November, where families can explore the learning spaces and meet school leaders, educators, students and current parents, while virtual sessions offer an introduction to SAS programmes and life at the school, with opportunities to hear from divisional leaders and educators and ask questions.

SPGS International School (Singapore) is a new co-educational British international school opening in January 2027 at 20 Harbour Drive. Founded in partnership with St Paul’s Girls’ School, London, the school draws on more than 120 years of educational heritage and joins the wider SPGS International network, alongside schools in Chengdu and Bangkok. As the school grows, students will follow the English National Curriculum, IGCSE and A Levels, alongside School Directed Courses in Music, Art, Drama and more.
