Singapore takes its coffee very seriously, as evidenced by the fact that there’s all manner of coffee appreciation and barista classes whether you want to boost your bean knowledge or practice some pretty latte art. A few we’ve heard particularly good things about include Papa Palheta, Common Man Coffee Roasters, The Coffee Academics, and Katalyst Coffee Academy (from Dutch Colony).
Is swing your thing, mama? Perhaps you prefer to waltz with your parter, or have unfulfilled tap dancing dreams from childhood. Or maybe you just find hip-hop or Bollywood dance to be the most fun and effective way to get a workout. Whatever your preference, Singapore is chock-a-block with fun dance options for adults.
Try All That Jazz for a range of fun options including tap, hip-hop and jazz; Dance Embassy for pulse-pounding Bollywood options; Tanglin Arts Studio for beginner ballet; Shawn & Gladys Dance Academy for social styles like Salsa, Mambo, ballroom dancing and more; Dance on Us for everything from bellydance to hula to flamenco; and SLAP Dance Studio for some sexy pole-dancing instruction.

Probably the most unique Singapore hobby you could have, tiny food crafting is all the rage here in Singapore, where it turns out we have a global superstar in our midst: artist Jocelyn Teo doesn’t just lead cool tiny food workshops where she teaches you how to make adorable, amazingly realistic clay food creations. Oh no, she’s also been commissioned by the likes of John Legend to craft a birthday present for his incredible wife, Chrissy Teigen (OMG), to recreate dishes from her cookbook in miniature. If it’s good enough for one of the world’s coolest couples, then it’s good enough for us!
