How did you first hear about your school?
Pegasus International Preschool was recommended to us by an experienced teacher we know.

What factors played into your decision to send your child to this school?
The interaction between the teachers and children is respectful and friendly,
and the curriculum design is creative, allowing children to express themselves through different tools. We also like that the school is quite large, but it feels cosy, with lots of different spaces for the kids to explore.

Did you take a tour of the school before making your decision? What were your first impressions?
Yes, I did. The environment is very colourful which I like, and the setting makes children feel comfortable enough to grab a book to read or to get toys to play with friends. Last but not least, it is safe!

How did your child adjust to the school? Did the school take any special measures to help with the settling in process?
Matthew adjusted himself to the school very well and very fast. I feel this was helped by the teachers keeping us informed about Matthew’s progress and experiences. As a parent, it’s helpful for me to chat with him about what he’s doing at school and encourage him to explore new environments.

What in your opinion are the three greatest strengths of the school?
Teachers, environment, and room for kids to think out of the box.

How does the school include parents in the community?
The school organises activities to bring the school community together – for example, we recently had a Family Amazing Race in Sentosa.

How does the school keep you informed about your child’s progress?
I appreciate the daily updates and photos from Matthew’s teachers very much. We chat on our way home and during dinner time about what Matthew has done at school that day and how he feels about things.

What is the number one thing you’d miss if you transferred your child to another school?
The relationship between Matthew and his classmates.

What kind of child (or family) would you say would be the best fit for this school?
I think this is a great fit for kids who are extroverts, or keen to explore and curious!

What extra-curricular activities or out of school programmes does the school offer that you have taken part in?
Matthew plays soccer every Tuesday morning, and we have joined the Everyday Enrichment Program in the afternoons.
