What is Plus! anyway?

Who can join Plus! and what does it cost?
Anyone living in Singapore is welcome to join, and there is no annual membership fee. There is a onetime joining fee of $10 but this is waived if you join with the Plus! app. Otherwise you can apply for a Plus! card online, or purchase in-store at any NTUC FairPrice outlet, Unity Pharmacy, or Caltex Service Station!
Why is Plus! particularly great for families?
