Free Kids Music Play Area, Performances & Workshops at Yamaha Week 2024

Keen to inspire your kids by letting them try new musical instruments? While music lessons are one way to introduce something new to your child, you can also spark their interest in music by simply giving them opportunities to touch and feel the musical instruments. Dedicated to nurturing a passion for music in kids and adults, Yamaha Music is hosting Yamaha Week 2024: Soundtrack of Your Life, featuring free-to-play hands-on experiences with many instruments in their Kids’ Music Play Area, music workshops, musical storytelling and more!

It’s happening all week, and kids can explore various musical instruments to their heart’s content. On the weekend, bond with your child by creating an instrument from scratch (limited seats available, registration opens one hour before) or embark on a musical storytelling journey with sing-a-long-songs and a ukulele. Be treated to impressive musical performances by artists, and strike a pose with their musical instruments and stunning backdrops for keepsakes. Plus, there will even be a DTX Drumming Speed Challenge, a performance by the majestic self-playing piano Yamaha Disklavier and an Open Mic for aspiring local musicians.
