Stand-Up Comedy, Live Performances, Poetry Readings & More At The Singapore Writers Festival

The Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) is back for its 27th edition, offering two weeks of fun-filled events and activities for the whole family! As one of Asia’s top literary events and one of the few multi-lingual literary festivals in the world, SWF proudly celebrates the written and spoken word in Singapore’s four official languages – English, Malay, Chinese, and Tamil. This year’s theme, ‘In Our Nature,’ delves into the relationship between humans and the natural world, highlighting the impacts of climate change.

With a captivating lineup of over 200 programmes by more than 300 presenters, you can expect a diverse array of panel discussions, workshops, performances, and more, with appearances by renowned international and local literary talents. What’s more, the SWF Playground has a special lineup for kids! Children’s author Piers Torday will be presenting a talk about his latest book, ‘Midnight Treasure’, while storytelling sessions like ‘The Family’s Secret Recipe – Nasi Ulam’ and ‘The Mysterious Button’ will spark kids’ imaginations and curiosity.
