Food Capital’s Sakura Serenity Buffet
4 March – 31 May 2026

If you’ve been craving decadent Japanese food, you’re in luck! Food Capital’s Sakura Serenity Buffet is back by popular demand, where you can indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine that has been elevated through a four-hands culinary collaboration between Michelin-trained Chef Elson Lee of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore and Japanese Guest Chef Keiji Matoba. The buffet is also an exciting collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Singapore, marking the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Singapore diplomatic relations.

Look forward to dishes such as Chef Keiji Matoba’s signature Wagyu dish and sea bream claypot, Chef Elson’s Pitan Tofu, lightly seared yellowtail with grated daikon, steamed oysters with sake, Saikyo miso-grilled black cod, Japanese Wagyu yakiniku, and more. Be sure to save some space for desserts, because Japanese-inspired sweets such as matcha and traditional confections await.

We highly recommend joining the launch evening on 5 March 2026, where you can watch a live 40kg Tuna Cutting demonstration, enjoy a HIBIKYA cultural showcase with Taiko drumming and Koto performances and try your luck in a lucky draw with attractive prizes!
