Improve Your Chinese & Crafting at Pei-Per Arts School

\\Pei-Per Arts School is founded and taught by renowned local flower artist, Pei Li whose beautiful flower crafts have been exhibited by National Heritage Board, and have graced the storefronts of Cath Kidston and Charles & Keith (to name a few!). To help children hone their Crafting and Mandarin skills, Pei Li has started Pei-Per Arts School where their Mission Statement is Creativity & Bilingualism Through Craft. These immersive art classes are conducted in Mandarin for children aged 3.5 to 8 years old! Through crafting, she strives to nourish each child’s creativity in arts and appreciation for the Mandarin language. The classes focus on sustainability and thinking out of the box, with the use of everyday recycled items. STEM elements are also often incorporated – ever tried using vinegar and baking soda to inflate balloons? Kids will get to test it out in class! With a ratio of one teacher to five students, kids benefit from fewer distractions and greater coverage. All teachers are bilingual in English and Mandarin, and students of varying levels of fluency in Mandarin are welcome (including those without prior exposure to the language!). Teachers will translate when required, depending on each individual’s needs. It’s the perfect chance to learn Mandarin in a fun way!
