Love ‘Kids React To…’ videos? Or just looking for fun ways to help your kids learn? New local YouTube channel 8 Colors is a Singapore-based edu tech company with educational videos for kids – perfect for entertaining kiddos over the school holidays!
With videos like “Kids try truffle, foie gras and caviar for the first time“, “How to hold chopsticks correctly” and “Masterchef Kids try making sushi like a Michelin star restaurant“, your kids are set for the school holidays with YouTube videos by 8 Colors!
The Singapore-based Edu Tech company focuses on providing new learning experiences with interactive play learning and purpose-designed toys. We love how their videos are not only entertaining, but also give kids ideas on fun things to do at home (like how to make sushi!), and teaches life skills such as compass reading and letter writing.
Educational fun videos for kids
If you’re big on getting the kids to learn all things STEM, coding and robotics, 8 Colors can help by facilitating just how kids learn those vital skills and knowledge through their videos. Everything they do is centred around fun!
First AI-Enabled Family Board Game: Google x 8 Colors
Founded by two NUS MBA graduates earlier this year, 8 Colors has already made innovative leaps by collaborating with Google to create an AI-enabled board game that sparks the curiosity of preschool and primary school children with 200 fun questions on Science, Nature, Animals and Culture. The game is enhanced by Google Assistance, as players are able to roll the dice virtually and ask Google for hints to the answers in the game. Watch how the board game is played here!
8 Colors Explorer Play Kits
Besides the Google x 8 COLORS Smart Board Game, 8 Colors also offers two Explorer Play Kits on their e-store with useful items to encourage indoor and outdoor play. The New Explorer Play Kit ($59) includes high-quality real binoculars, a toy Explorer Vehicle, compass, ropes and backpack, while the Premium Explorer Play Kit ($79) has all that along with a mini torch, glowsticks and treasure map.
Coupled with fun educational videos released every Wednesday and Saturday thanks to their own in-house content production team, the products and videos go hand-in-hand in providing a complete learning experience for kids! Make sure to subscribe to the 8 Colors YouTube channel to stay updated on all their latest videos (they’ll be a lifesaver during the holidays!) and check out the board game and play kits on their website!
