This June, the Balloon Museum will bring its infamous Pop Air exhibition to Marina Bay Sands. Get ready to experience art in a whole new way with large-scale inflatable installations, interactive artworks from globally acclaimed artists and dynamic light displays. This event promises plenty of IG-worthy spots and hands-on fun for the whole family!

What is Pop Air?

Pop Air is an art exhibition that invites visitors to explore the beauty of inflatable art. Combining air and imagination, Pop Air creates captivating, larger-than-life creations that will leave you mesmerised and offer an opportunity to interact with art and spatial perception.

This immersive journey features colourful, monumental installations that dominate the space and delicate sculptures that use air to create a new form of art. What is the Balloon Museum?

The Balloon Museum was founded in Rome in 2020 and has since become the global leader in promoting inflatable art. They work with global artists to push the boundaries of artistic expression and invite visitors to reflect on their lives, take a break from the norm and step out of their comfort zones to interact with captivating art installations.

Cyril Lancelin’s Crazy Love for Polygons: Geometric art installations

Look forward to stepping into Cyril Lancelin’s artwork featuring an interactive installation of inflatable structures. In this edition of Pop Air, you’re invited to explore and build within a geometric dimension with Crazy Love for Polygons.

Karina Smigla-Bobinski’s ADA: Interactive art with a PVC sphere

Karina Smigla-Bobinski’s ADA is a self-generating work of art. This unique, interactive installation will have visitors quickly realising that no matter how they try to control it, ADA is an independent artist made a PVC sphere that produces unpredictable results.

Hyperstudio: 1,000sqm of latex balloons

Hypercosmo is the must-see centrepiece attraction at Pop Air. This installation spans 1,000 square metres and uses latex balloons, kinetic lights and video projections that merge nature, technology and humanity. This art installation was created in collaboration with Quiet Ensemble.

ENESS’ Spiritus Sonata: Interactive wind instruments

Spiritus Sonata, an interactive artwork at the Balloon Museum, engages the senses to uplift visitors. This installation uses wind instruments to inflate unique structures and create sounds for a magical musical composition.

Lindsay Glatz & Curious Form’s Cloud Swing:

This nostalgic installation at the Balloon Museum will bring out the child in everyone. Cloud Swing is a playful and interactive experience that invokes a sense of wonder, nostalgia and youth. Hop on a swing and watch the cloud change colours as you travel back in time to your childhood.
