Clementi Woods Park

152 West Coast Road, Singapore
When it’s not hosting the annual Mooncake Festival event, Clementi’s 12-hectare green space is a pretty good picnic spot. Enjoy the huge lawned areas in the shady park (there’s heaps of trees here!) or climb the tower at one end of the park to take in the view of the surrounding areas. Little ones can stay occupied between bites at the small playground. Check out our full round-up of Singapore's best picnic spots here!

For green grass as far as the eye can see, make a date to visit the Chinese Gardens for a leisurely picnic and a mope around on the lush lawns. Popular with kite-flyers, pack your cucumber sandwiches and your appetite and let the kids free roam around the grounds. Littlies will love feeding the fish in the main lake (don’t forget the stale bread!) as well as the endless space for ball games and running wild! Check out our full round-up…

The wet playground at Lot One will cool grumpy munchkins off with fountains, spray tunnels and water jets all available for the taking. Take note mama that the water play area is only available from 12 to 2pm and 5 to 8pm on weekdays and from 12 to 8pm on weekends. We admit it’s not exactly around the corner from most S’pore dwellers, but is a fun way to try something different (you can always catch public transport there and really make…

A bit off the beaten track for those mamas living centrally (perfect for those living in the north) the kids can run wild in the 15,000 square foot open air wet playground (whoa!). That’s a ton of water pistols, propellers, buckets of water and fountains to keep your kiddies out of mischief.
