IFS Families Are Invited To The Act’IFS Walkathon With Santa, Sports Challenges, Games & More!

Calling all IFS families! Give back this festive season at IFS Singapore’s Act’IFS Walkathon, where kids can meet Santa, enjoy creative workshops, sports challenges, student-led music performances, a bake sale and more!

If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back this festive season and treat the kiddos to a day packed with excitement, the International French School (IFS) Singapore’s annual Act’IFS Walkathon is shaping up to be the perfect Saturday plan. Happening on 13 December 2025 and organised by the school’s Groupe Humanitaire (made up of dedicated IFS parents and students), here’s a look at all the exciting activities lined up for an afternoon that blends meaningful giving with pure festive fun.

Festive activities for the whole family

This one-day event turns the IFS campus into a yuletide carnival filled with plenty of festive activities for the IFS community. Families can take part in the Walkathon, a perfect way to get moving with the kids and support a good cause. Younger ones can visit Santa’s Grotto, where they’ll get to meet Santa, write him some letters or join hands-on workshops like cookie decorating, Christmas wreath-making and even slime!

For the active kiddos, the line-up is just as exciting. They can take on the Everest Climbing Challenge, zoom down the slip-and-slide, or test their coordination in obstacle races (including the classic egg-and-spoon race!). Sports fans can join football and basketball games, try their hand at table tennis or take part in Decathlon-led challenges. Little ones aren’t left out either, with a bouncy castle, baby foot (a tabletop football game), giant Lego and Kapla building zones, classic carnival games, face-painting and more.

Ring in the festivities while giving back

Once you’ve conquered all the activities, take a breather and enjoy live music performances by IFS primary and secondary students! Feeling peckish? Don’t miss the bake sale, one of the event’s highlights, where IFS families put their homemade goodies front and centre. From festive treats to savoury snacks, plus ice cream, popcorn and candyfloss, there’s plenty to refuel the kids (and yourself!) while giving back.

You’ll also find greeting cards and magnets made by students for sale, plus a book fair, which is perfect for festive gift shopping while supporting the school’s humanitarian projects.
