If you’ve always been a fan of British Council’s Holiday Study Camps for kids aged 4 to 17, good news — a study camp to help your child learn English is now offered every week, all year long
Looking for a way to help your child learn English, mama? We’ve always raved about British Council‘s fun and engaging Holiday Study Camps, so we’re psyched to share that they now offer Year-round Study Camps with face-to-face camps offered from 6 July 2020!
Starting every Monday, each week is a complete, stand-alone English camp for students, with the option to register for as many camps as they wish. Programmes are aimed at Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary students (aged 4 to 17) who wish to learn English within a safe, fun and supportive environment. At each camp students gain confidence in communicating together in English, and develop key skills like problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity!
Each day, students will get to study a different topic using a unique approach of hands-on, experiential learning that will spur on their urge to learn English while also increasing their knowledge and awareness of the world around them. Activities include lots of games and fun activities, group research projects, hands-on experiments, drama games, presentations and even excursions!
With the opportunity to develop their vocabulary on a range of different topics, gain confidence in communicating in a variety of situations, and improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, the camp proves to be more than just a programme where kids learn English.
Small class sizes and genuine face-to-face interaction between students and teacher also ensure the best way for students to learn. You’ll be happy to know that British Council’s experienced, friendly and internationally-qualified teachers hold professional teaching qualifications including CELTA, Delta, PGCE, MA TEFL, TYLEC with extensive experience in teaching children.
British Council’s Year Round Camps are held at Napier Road Centre, just five minutes from Orchard Road. The centre boasts 17 purpose-built, wifi-enabled classrooms, each equipped with an interactive whiteboard and a digital visualiser. There’s also a Young Learners learning zone and an air-conditioned, wifi-enabled café where parents can kick back or sneak some work in while waiting for their little ones to break camp!
Make sure to check their schedule for upcoming weekly camps this summer all the way till end-August 2020!
