Dover Court International School has a unique approach to post-secondary education. Over here, Sixth Form students get to tailor their academic programmes around their talents and aspirations, instead of being forced into traditional educational paths.
In this day and age, we’re well aware that one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to education. Today’s students have more post-secondary pathways than ever before–from university and vocational training to launching their own business or entering the workforce–and Dover Court International School (DCIS)‘s flexible and personalised Sixth Form curriculum lays the foundation for that. Read on to find out how the school’s personalised programmes support and challenge students based on their strengths and goals.
Mix & match with diverse curriculum options

With its students consistently having achieved International Baccalaureate results well above global averages, it goes without saying that Dover Court is known for its IB programme. In 2025, DCIS students achieved an average score of 36 and a high score of 44, six points higher than the global average of 30.58! But as an award-winning, non-selective and inclusive school, they know that not every student learns in the same way or has the same plans for their future. As such, the school offers multiple routes to post-secondary education and career development. Here, teachers will work with your child to build a personalised programme that fits their interests, strengths and future goals.
If your child chooses to pursue the full International Baccalaureate Diploma, they can take six subjects along with the core components: Creativity, Activity and Service, the Extended Essay, and Theory of Knowledge. For those with a clear passion in a specific area, like business or music, they have the option to mix and match programmes (or curricula). They can combine IB subjects with courses from the BTEC International Diplomas 2 & 3 in Business, or add extra qualifications in digital skills or performing arts. In fact, one student paired Business with IB Music and went on to study Songwriting and Music Business!
For students with additional learning needs, the Dover Court Diploma and ASDAN qualifications help students in the Pathway 3 programme develop practical skills, independence and wellbeing through core modules and work experience.
New Sixth Form Centre to support university & career preparation

At their newly opened two-storey Sixth Form Centre, students get to collaborate with peers, connect with their teachers and prepare for university or a rewarding career. With a personalised curriculum that allows every student to experience their own version of success, it’s no surprise that 100% of their IBDP and BTEC students passed with flying colours, while 98% have been accepted into their preferred universities.
Whether your child has a clear direction or is still exploring their interests, Dover Court offers a programme that fits. If you’re planning a path for your child to join Dover Court’s Sixth Form programme, register for their upcoming Secondary Open Evening on 26 November 2025.
