12 December 2020 – 12 January 2022
Get a taste of luxury travel from the 1900s at the Once Upon a Time on the Orient Express pop-up exhibition. Spearheaded by the Arab World Institute, the exhibition will present stunning objects and documents that detail the centuries-old history of the Orient Express train. You’ll get to see how the train’s legacy helped shaped the world of travel and see the tracks and landscapes that were traversed by bygone generations. Relive the history when you board the Orient Express through a reconstituted train platform, where you’ll see showrooms that showcase the train’s fascinating journey. There will also be a special Orient Express pop-up restaurant with Three Michelin-starred Chef Yannick Alléno, who will recreate the vintage dining experience onboard the replica Anatolia dining car. Tickets to the exhibition can be booked on SISTIC, and tables for the exclusive dining experience can be booked online. Eligible Singaporeans will now be able to purchase tickets for this pop-up attraction using the SingapoRediscover vouchers.
