Highlights include the magnificent floating lantern set Magpie Bridge on Dragonfly Lake, the debut of the Pavilion set which also doubles up as a beautiful stage for music and dance performances set against the dramatic backdrop of the Supertrees, and Garden of Blooms, where a moon gate rich with symbolism opens into a boulevard of trees. Here's something to add to your diary! Carnival by The Bay takes place on 22 and 23 September 2023, from 5pm – 10pm at The Lawn at @Marina Bay, with complimentary movie screenings and a host of interactive fringe activities! Now's your chance to watch Top Gun: Maverick (2022, starring Tom Cruise and Jennifer Connelly) on Friday or Jurassic World Dominion on Saturday. The carnival ground at The Lawn will be open from 5pm on both days with a variety of interactive arcade games and interesting inflatables!⁠

Movie screenings will start at 7.30pm. Some outdoor chairs are available but to be safe bring your own picnic mats and bean bags! This is a free entry event, no pre-booking required for the movie screening. There will be food for purchase and game booth coupons available for purchase at the ticket counter.⁠
