Looking for a delicious sushi restaurant to treat someone? We tried Ganko Sushi’s new 15-course sushi omakase experience, where you can feast according to the season. The Japanese head chef personally places orders with Osaka Fish Market so there’s always fresh seafood flown in three times a week. Priced at $130 per person Ganko Sushi’s new 15-course sushi omakase includes a starter, sashimi, multiple sushi offerings according to the season, and a dessert. We loved sitting up at the counter and having each morsel prepared individually and handed to us one by one by the sushi chef - such a fun experience!

Here's something to add to your diary! Carnival by The Bay takes place on 22 and 23 September 2023, from 5pm – 10pm at The Lawn at @Marina Bay, with complimentary movie screenings and a host of interactive fringe activities! Now's your chance to watch Top Gun: Maverick (2022, starring Tom Cruise and Jennifer Connelly) on Friday or Jurassic World Dominion on Saturday. The carnival ground at The Lawn will be open from 5pm on both days with a variety of interactive arcade games and interesting inflatables!⁠

Movie screenings will start at 7.30pm. Some outdoor chairs are available but to be safe bring your own picnic mats and bean bags! This is a free entry event, no pre-booking required for the movie screening. There will be food for purchase and game booth coupons available for purchase at the ticket counter.⁠
