Before you think, “Is this only for the HYROX crowd?” It’s not. Sentosa Beach Fest is designed to be beginner-friendly, with plenty of activities for little ones aged 6 and up. Yes, there are tougher fitness challenges and competitive try-outs for the serious sweat-seekers, but with over 30 sports, wellness and lifestyle experiences spread across five zones, this day-to-night festival welcomes everyone, no matter your skill level.

Start your adventure at the Showdown zone, home to Singapore’s first beachfront Ninja Lab obstacle course. Kids (ages 6 and up) and adults can tackle Ninja-Z, a beginner-friendly setup with nine obstacles and one-hour unlimited runs (from $25 per adult). Those who want to level up can take on Ninja-X with 13 tougher obstacles (from $30 per adult), or stay for the Ninja Shadow Tag, an adrenaline-fueled prisoner escape game where you can race through the Ninja X course with live “ninjas” patrolling the dungeon (from $30 per adult)!

Right next door, Defy Gravity features art of callisthenics and bodyweight training. Here is where you can catch the free Cali Public Performance by international callisthenics athletes (15 March, 6pm – 8pm)! If you’ve watched Physical: Asia, you’ll probably recognise the Battle Rope Challenge. Here, you can take it on solo or rally a team, push your endurance to the limit, and even stand a chance to walk away with $1,000 in prize money (from $22, minimum age 16)! Over at the Stadium (14 – 22 March), look forward to competitions, tryouts and clinics across sports such as beach football, volleyball, ultimate frisbee and netball!

Nearby, the Social Hub features supersized board games like Giant Jenga and Tic-Tac-Toe, plus shaded seating for those who want to cool off.

Wait, there’s more! The Arena is where you’ll find sports such as yoga, pilates, cardio dance and kickboxing by the shore. Weekday classes are free, while weekend activities such as Cardio Remix, spin bike and trampoline sessions start from $17–$22. When hunger hits, the Refuel Zone has you covered with easy, satisfying bites and drinks, so you can recharge quickly and head straight back into the action. During the evenings, stay for the Sunset Sessions, where you can enjoy laid-back live music, before Ultraviolet parties light up the beach with DJs and colourful neon lights (selected dates between 14 – 22 March).
