Istana Open House for National Day 2025: Live Performances & National Day-themed activities

Exciting news, peeps! The National Day Istana Open House 2025 will be held on Sunday, 3 August 2025, 8:30am to 6pm and this year there will be live performances, food trucks and fun National Day-themed activity booths! The National Day Istana Open House is FREE for all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents. For all other visitors, there is an entrance fee of $20 per adult and $10 per child aged between four and 12. Read more about what to expect at the Istana Open House here.

Performances:

You can expect an array of cultural and traditional performances at the Istana National Day Open House throughout the day.

Activity Booths

Look forward to plenty of National Day-themed activities that will take place at the main tent. This year’s SG60 celebrations are sure to be a big one!

Guided Tours

The 1-hour Istana Heritage Tour takes place from 9am – 4pm and starts at the Main Gate. Look forward to highlights such as the Villa, Japanese Garden and Ceremonial Plaza. The tours are conducted in English and Mandarin. Tour fees for Singapore Citizens & PRs cost $8/adult and $4/child aged 4 – 12, with Standard tour fees costing $30/adult and $12/child. Note that the fees do not include admission fees into the Istana grounds.

Food Trucks at National Day Istana Open House 2025

There will also be food trucks, food stalls, as well as Drinks Booths and merchandise booths with limited-edition Istana souvenirs and President’s Challenge souvenirs. All fees collected and proceeds from the merchandise booths will go towards charities supported by the President’s Challenge.

Admission to National Day Istana Open House 2025

Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents enter for free as will children below 4 years old. Other visitors will pay an admission fee of $20 per adult and $10 per child aged 4 to 12. There are also fees applicable for entry to the Istana Main Building Guided Tour and Nature Guided Tour.
