Marina Barrage Water Playground

8 Marina Gardens Drive Singapore 018951
If flying kites, running amok and leisurely family picnics on the grass are not quite enough to keep your rugrats happy, your adventure bunnies will love the fountains and shallow pools of the water playground at Marina Barrage. Older ones can test their skills by predicting which fountain will spray water next. The Gallery Cafe is a good source of refreshments if ice creams are in order! Opening Hours: Open all day every day.

IMM Shopping Mall Water Play Park

Level 3 Garden Plaza, IMM Shopping Mall, 2 Jurong East Street 21, Singapore 609601
(+65) 6665 8268
Heading west, IMM Shopping Mall has a flower-themed water play area on the 3rd level of the Garden Plaza, complete with watermills and spraying flowers. With the clever use of rubber floors, there is no slipping over for wet babes. Older children can take great pleasure in controlling the water fountains, just watch out mama – you might get wet too! Opening Hours: Daily 10am - 10pm Psssst: Check out our full review of IMM here!

VivoCity SkyPark

VivoCity Mall Level 3, 1 HarbourFront Walk, Singapore 098585
Reward well-behaved children with a post-shopping splash in the rooftop water play area at VivoCity. The huge free-to-use knee-deep water area (it looks kind of like a swimming pool) is a nice, if rather hot, spot for little ones to paddle. On level 2 of Vivo there is also an awesome outdoor play area, perfect for water babies to run around in under the fountains, while wild toddlers can get weary on the playground equipment. It can get really sunny here so slather…

Science Centre Singapore

15 Science Centre Road, Singapore 609081
(+65) 6425 2500
With interactive, hands-on exhibits that are perfect for both younger and older children, the Science Centre provides a super-interesting learning experience for children (just don’t tell them it is educational!). With dozens of exhibits (our faves include the Marine Alcove, the Climate Change exhibit and the Mind’s Eye display) spread across 14 galleries, there’s enough here to keep all members of the family busy. Whilst it can be a bit of hike to get there, the centre has been designed…

Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden

481 Bukit Timah Road (entrance via NUS Bukit Timah Campus Carpark) , Singapore 259769
(+65) 6471 9927
The Jacob Ballas Children's Garden is a Singapore mama classic. Load yourself up like a pack mule with sun cream, hats, mozzie repellant, swim gear and water toys and head to the Botanic Gardens for a fab morning (afternoons can get a little crowded). Tinies will love the water play area (there's no actual swimming involved -- just a lot of getting wet!) and bigger kids can play in the tree house or sand pit. Finish with lunch at Food…
