We’re going on an Easter Egg Hunt! Join us for our March Mama Meet Up at Canadian International School

Join us for our popular Easter Egg Hunt at CIS with outdoor play, a magic show, face painting and of course, chocolate!

Calling all Easter Bunny fans! We need YOUR help to find all the hidden eggs at Canadian International School‘s (CIS) Lakeside Campus on Thursday, 22 March!

Come down for a morning of Easter fun at the magical Outdoor Discovery Centre (ODC), CIS’s engaging outdoor learning environment with fun features like a mud kitchen and eco pond. Bright eggs will be tucked away amongst the bushes and other little corners of the garden – find them and you can then trade your egg treasure for delicious chocolate bunnies and eggs!

The talented CIS staff and students will also be hosting creative Easter-themed arts and crafts activities. Kiddos can enjoy an inquiry play session in the ODC, including play time in the mud kitchen and obstacle course, sand exploration, sidewalk chalk art and mural weaving.

The event will give your little ones the opportunity to truly discover and experience the CIS Outdoor Learning programme firsthand! CIS finds that outdoor learning plays an integral role in every student’s education, helping them thrive academically, emotionally, socially, creatively and physically. The ODC isn’t just a hit with Kindergarten students, but also with the older grades, where they hold their lessons alongside other outdoor experiences such as field trips and excursions for hands-on learning experiences.

Magic Show by Rumple & Friends
Hailing from Hong Kong, Rumple & Friends are now in Singapore! The fab party entertainers will be on hand to put on a lively magic show. Having performed over 650 shows last year across HK, these guys definitely know a thing or two about putting on a show! Give them a call for your next party – choose from interactive games, a mini disco or a magic show, with 13 unique characters to choose from (from super heroes to fairies, jungle rangers, and mermaids to name a few!). Here’s the rundown of the event:

9:15am – 9:30am     Registration begins at the ODC centre (look for the bright balloon arch!). There will be sign posts at the car park and main reception area to guide you out to the ODC, with friendly CIS staff to lead you to the play area. Don’t forget to collect your goodie bags at the registration desk at the end of the event, mama!
9:30am – 9:50am    Magic show, face painting, arts and crafts and photo ops with the Easter Bunny!
9:50am – 10.00am  Welcome message from CIS Kindergarten Vice Principal, Andrea Strachan
10:00am – 10:15am  The Easter Egg Hunt kicks off! Easter Bunny will lead the way and baskets will be provided for each family.
10:15am – 11:00am Easter-themed activities and games, and light refreshments
10:45am – 11:30am Campus tour (optional). For parents wishing to discover more about CIS’s Kindergarten or Primary programme, campus tours (which will last about 40 minutes) will be available after the event.

Also expect a generous spread of healthy snacks, drinks and sweet treats!
