Looking for a friendly space to celebrate International Women’s Day? Head on down to Crane at The Herencia for exciting workshops, talks and the chance to make like-minded friends between 5 and 6 March 2022!

Crane’s International Women’s Day celebrations are spread out over two days, and there’s plenty to boost your mind, body and spirit. Here are some of the highlights you can expect:

Five Elements of Self-Healing
Led by healer, coach and facilitator Michelle Ayn Tessensohn, you’ll receive tips on developing resilience, inner resources and fulfilling your potential through the Taoist philosophy of the five elements. Gain insight into balance and how to manage emotions and how to reduce anxiety and stress.

Female Entrepreneurs’ Seminar
This candid talk and creative workshop deals with the idea of being brave, and you’ll follow the stories of Ruth and Amy, two entrepreneurs who share about pushing the limits, living outside of our comfort zones and what it means to be brave to begin again. A fun and affirmative art session will follow, where you’ll doodle, design, and colour with Amy, and a word of your choice will be written and embossed by Ruth.

Free Posture & Back Pain Workshop
The Gokhale Method uses healthy posture and movement to help you restore your structural integrity, minimising back pain caused by heavy bags, heels, pregnancy and more. Gokhale instructor Meenakshi will teach you the why and how of the Gokhale Method and how to stretchsit – a way of sitting back in a seat and giving yourself gentle traction, which eases compression in your spine and stretches out tight or spasming back muscles. The one-hour session will also show you how to prevent muscle and joint degeneration and injury, increase energy, stamina, and flexibility, and reduce stress.

A Drip, A Drop, A Deluge
A graphic novel about periods? Well, why not?  Join comics creator Andeasyand (Nurulhuda Izyan) for a night of drawing, conversation and fun. Izyan will talk about the process of writing and illustrating A Drip. A Drop. A Deluge: A Period Tragicomedy, and how she began sharing her period stories through her comics. Participants will also get to write and draw their very own period comic.

Tabitha Foundation Pop-Up
Tabitha Foundation Singapore is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organisation established in 2002 to support the mission of Tabitha Foundation Cambodia. Tabitha’s objective is to raise awareness and support Tabitha’s life changing programmes in Cambodia by selling beautiful handcrafted silk merchandise produced by Tabitha’s silk cottage industry. In addition to this work, Tabitha Foundation Singapore facilitates fundraising and donation activities to help Cambodians, lifting them out of poverty, developing skills and fostering self-sufficiency and independence. Shop and support a good cause!
