Visit EtonHouse Sentosa – Singapore’s first heritage pre-school – and enjoy a special children’s art exhibition, family art activities, and more to benefit underprivileged children.
We’ve always wondered what exactly goes on in the kiddos’ heads and now EtonHouse is giving us a little insight into that. They’re celebrating 50 years of the Little Red Dot with the exhibition Singapore Through the Eyes of a Child at their Sentosa campus this October 3rd – the twist is that all the artists are children!
It’s befitting that it’s all going on over at the brand new EtonHouse Sentosa, Singapore’s first heritage pre-school. The multimedia collection ranges from paintings to writing, opening up creative avenues for kids to express the world they live in. The relationship between a little one and the place they grow up in is utterly complex and the showcase is sure to be nothing short of inspiring.
Aside from dipping your tots’ toes into the world of art appreciation, you’ll also be able to participate in EtonHouse’s fantastic sensory workshops. On the day, families will be able to get their aprons on and join their neuroceramics (clay sculpting) and canvas painting classes to collaborate in creating something beautiful. The fun doesn’t end there, though: stick around for the silent auction and bid on some fantastic gifts for the family! All of the proceeds will go towards EtonHouse Community Fund, the school’s charity initiative that helps support children from underprivileged backgrounds.
Of course, if you’re looking for a great pre-school to send your kiddos to then this is your opportunity to scope the campus out. Their fantastic team will be on hand to answer any questions you and your child might have about the school, as well as to make sure you have fun exploring your artistic passions. Don’t forget to RSVP on their site here!
