Mandarin Oriental Singapore Temporarily Closed for Revamp
Mandarin Oriental Singapore has closed as of 7 March 2023 for a transformation, for the first time since its opening in Marina Bay in 1987! The hotel will offer a brand-new look and feel when it reopens in September 2023, promising a transformation that will take place across the hotel’s interiors, from the grand lobby and the rooms to the award-winning restaurants and bars. Event & Launch of TalkAboutSex: online platform for women
Join the inaugural launch of TalkAboutSex, an online platform for ASEAN women to safely discuss taboo topics surrounding sex and relationship-related issues coupled with trusted information from healthcare professionals. For this launch, TalkAboutSex is partnering with a Singapore-based NGO, The Whitehatters, “Let’s Talk About…” series where contemporary, and at times contentious or provocative, social issues are respectfully discussed. Join the event to hear all about topics such as: what a healthy sexual relationship looks like, how to be a better lover, in and out of the bedroom and more! Hear from experts and engage them in conversations to have all your questions. Register for free here. ‘Tiny House’ Staycations on Lazarus from April 2023
There will be more reasons to visit Lazarus Island very soon! Tiny Away Escape @ Lazarus Island is set to open for staycation bookings in April 2023, featuring five tiny houses measuring between 150sqft and 170sqft. Each eco-friendly tiny home will be kitted out with all the necessary fixtures for a comfortable short stay (including energy-efficient electrical appliances and complimentary biodegradable shampoo and body wash!). All it takes to get there is a short 15-minute boat ride from the Sentosa Jetty@Cove and you’ll have a fun island getaway in a unique tiny house hotel room! Some amenities and activities available include bicycle rental, Glasshouse and an air-conditioned multi-purpose space. The convenience store, overnight glamping and non-motorised water activities will be launched in phases from June. Details are to be confirmed on food availability. Watch this space!

New 8-metre-tall Rock Climbing Wall in Changi Airport
As if we needed more reasons to visit one of the world’s best airports! New sport climbing attraction Climb@T3 has opened in Terminal 3, featuring an 8m-tall High Wall and a 12m-long boulder wall. The Boulder Wall is best for younger and budding climbers, standing at just 2.5 metres tall. There’s also a programme called The Rock Tots, designed for children aged two to six, filled with activities and games aimed at helping children get comfortable with climbing.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience Opens in Sentosa
Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience has finally opened in Sentosa! The exhibition brings 300 of Van Gogh’s masterpieces to life through cutting-edge digital projections in a massive 1000sqm space. There are also VR experiences, amazing displays describing Van Gogh’s life and an art corner for kids and adults alike. Read more about exhibitions in Singapore here!
