Fun (and mostly free!) stuff for kids and families to do this weekend!

FREE: Live Show – PAW Patrol Pups To The Rescue Mall Show
A brand new PAW Patrol Mall Show is now coming to United Square and OneKM Mall! This show brings everybody’s favorite PAW Patrol characters – Ryder, Chase, Marshall and Skye to the malls for an action-packed, high-energy and musical adventure. Don’t miss this because it’s Skye’s first mall show in Asia! Deets here.

FREE: Quayside River Festival – Sunday 3rd December 11.00am –10.30pm
Head on down to the river at Quayside this weekend for the first-ever Quayside Christmas Festival. Carol singers will kick off the weekend on Friday the 1st December, followed by a full day of festivities organised by the renowned Sunshine Nation on Sunday 3rd December. From 11am until 10:30pm on Sunday, the riverside will showcase a pop-up market featuring boutique artisan chocolates to homemade candles and homegrown Christmas gifts plus for the big and little kids: giant lawn games of Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four and Ring Rope Toss, pop-up magicians, caricaturists, and an appearance from a pizza acrobaand plus acclaimed musicians and DJs.

FREE: NCA is back with it’s bi-annual Garage Sale on the 3rd of December 2017. With amazing bargains, it is a great place to look for Christmas presents and stocking fillers plus all proceeds from the sale goes to charities! More info here.

Visit a museum
Check out the best kid-friendly museums here.  National Gallery Singapore has some fun free events on at the moment for families – including story-telling sessions and hands-on workshops – think creating collage portraits, experimenting with Chinese ink and clay and drawing with pastels.

FREE:Jacob Ballas – Newly reopened!
In case you missed it! Jacob Ballas is open and it is big and beautiful! We loved it so much we wrote a rap song about it. (Just kidding but we did take an awesome video so you can see for yourself). We love that there’s stuff for older kids now too from a flying fox to a treehouse in the trees and a canopy walk with a wobbly bridge with actual real life trolls under it (sort of). Plus there’s a bucket were kids can aim stones into (honestly our 9 year old tester said it was a highlight!) and a veggie farm plus old faves of a waterfountain play area, maze and slides too!

Circus! Science Under The Big Top
Wanna join the circus? You can at Science Centre with their Circus! Science Under The Big Top. This is where to head to see 20 interactive exhibits from circus tricks of juggling and balancing on a high wire to learning from contortionists how to get one’s body into very small spaces. There are other exhibits on too like Above & Beyond which explores aerospace innovation and reveals the science behind flight. Free for the permanent exhibitions, but entry fees to Science Centre apply.

FREE: Write your letters to Santa! (Free downloadable template for Sassy Kids!)
He will be in town soon – find out where here! In the meantime, download our cute Santa letter template for your kiddo to fill in and pop in the post to Lapland pronto!

Land of Giants – Singapore Zoo
Head over to the Singapore Zoo and step into the land of giants where 20 larger-than-life invertebrates like Net-Casting spiders will be towering above you. Yikes! There will be puppet shows, craft activities, meet and greets with real live insects (cockroach or stick insect – it changes each time but you’ll get up close and personal with them!) plus meet the mascot Dung Beetle (we have been warned to watch out for his ball of ..erm…poop!).
