Halloween is on the 31st of October so this year it falls on a Tuesday, which means many of the Halloween events take place on the weekend before it. Get ahead by planning your Jack-o-lantern designs and picking out Halloween costumes (are you in the scary or cute costume camp?). Then, get excited for trick-or-treating, Halloween parties galore and loads of creepy fun at all these Halloween events in Singapore! We’ll be updating this list of the best Halloween events in Singapore for kids, so check back for new fun!

1. Opera Estate Trick or Treat

The Opera Estate Trick or Treat is one of the Halloween events that so many look forward to and it’s back in 2023. Put on your scariest Halloween costume, bring your biggest Halloween booty bag and get ready for a trick-or-treating experience to remember. There are two locations this year – pick from a starting point of Opera Estate Football Field or the Elite Terrace Park. Registrations will commence at 5:30pm at both locations. The Trick-or-Treat walk will kick off from 6pm onwards. Sign up here.

2. Cluny Court’s Halloween Trick-or Treat (FREE!)

Head over to Cluny Court with the kids all dressed up in their favourite Halloween costume for an exciting daytime Trick-or-Treating event in the comfort of the air-conditioned mall! The kids will get to knock on doors of 14 participating stores to collect a basket full of yummy candy. There will also be free face painting to complete the kids’ Halloween look. Plus, snap plenty of photos with the Halloween decorations throughout the mall to remember this spooky Halloween day with the kids.

3. Halloween Science Lab Escape Quest at Tanglin Mall

Head down to Tayo Station’s Tayo-ween, a kid-friendly Halloween event full of spooktacular game stations, lots of candy and a chance to show off your best Halloween costumes (the prize is a Lite membership worth $38!). More info here.

5. Trick or Thrills @ Universal Studios Singapore

There’s plenty of Halloween fun for kids happening at Universal Studios Singapore! Meet your favourite characters like the Minion Monsters at Lagoon Stage or snap a photo with Dracula and Bride of Frankenstein. Don’t miss a Meet & Greet with The Sorceress at Ancient Egypt and an eclectic performance ‘The Misfits Show’ at New York. This year, there will be an all-new live dance and percussion show that might just inspire your kids to learn how to drum as they groove to the beat! Kids can create their own spookalicious cookies, transform into their favourite characters with face-painting, be dazzled by a captivating magic show and more. Show off your best Halloween costume at the Best Dressed Competition and embark on a Ghost Lollipop Scavenger Hunt. To keep hungry tummies satisfied, you’ll get to choose from 10 local vendors for delicious local delights and Halloween-themed treats like Pumpkin Pie Madeleines and Cinnamon Apple Dacquoise. Marina Square foyer atrium transforms into a spine-tingling destination for families this October with its array of Halloween activities! Brace yourselves for a wickedly good time filled with a free pumpkin bouncy castle for kids to bounce on plus trick-or-treat pop-ups, and a slew of spooktacular photo opportunities. Guests can also score some perks by downloading the Marina Square App, where they can enter the promo codes they find throughout the event to secure themselves $2 iClaw tokens and Halloween-themed balloons. Come donned in your scariest costumes for the Halloween Party on 28 October, where for $25 per child, participants can take part in the Elmer’s Slime Workshop. 11. Haunted Halloween Hymn Concert

The Singapore Symphony Chorus puts on A Haunted Halloween Hymnc concert at the Victoria Concert Hall with the songs of Dan Forrest, Wojciech Kilar, Andrew Lloyd Webber and more this Halloween. Join them and Halloween host, organist Loraine Muthiah, as they raise the spirits of music from beneath the scores.

12. Halloween Horror Nights 2023: Adult Halloween event

Get ready for mega hair-raising experiences this Halloween! One of the scariest Halloween events (not recommended for children under the age of 13) is Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights! Get ready for five terrifying haunted houses, three sinister scare zones, two live shows and a multi-sensory dining experience that will keep you at the edge of your seat! Anticipate more frights as you make your way through the park in complete darkness. And if you can stomach more horrors…you can join King Yama’s Feast in “Die-ning in Hell” for a scarily sumptuous three-course meal that features three gruesome tortures: fire, blade and blood.
