Children’s Festival: Small Big Dreamers 2018
Head to the National Gallery for a whole host of colourful installations, exciting workshops and eye-opening tours! Kiddos will love the interactive, sensory installation Hands On: by We Make Carpets, which encourages little ones to make art using pool noodles, velcro and other household items. Don’t miss the digital displays by teamLab (the cool kids behind FutureWorld), which respond to the presence of visitors with blooming digital flowers and even a wondrous labyrinth!

The Giving Family Festival
An initiative of TOUCH Community Services, The Giving Family Festival celebrates the spirit of giving back as One Community. There will be carnival rides, eats, game booths, a NERF Gun Battle, live performances, fun workshops (learn sign language or try the ukelele!), a family arena, kids’ gym, movie screenings and more! All proceeds from coupon sales will go towards the needs of some 31,000 TOUCH beneficiaries including youth-at-risk, vulnerable families, people with special needs and the disadvantaged seniors.

Surreally? Art Exhibition & Free Workshops by Artz Graine
Discover the wonderful world of Surrealism (think Salvador Dali or Andre Breton!) with Artz Graine Studio’s curated children’s art exhibition and free workshops! Participating students will explore chance and the relationship between modes of conscious and subconscious mind, plus try a game of ‘exquisite corpses’ to spark a manifestation of creativity. Children will receive one experiential digital illustration or Papyrus kraft class each!

Sentosa Sandsation: Marvel Edition
Look forward to a plethora of MARVEL-themed sights and activities to bring out the superhero in you! Internationally-acclaimed sand sculptor JOOheng Tan and his team will be creating 15 larger-than-life sand sculptures of popular MARVEL icons like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Hulk. 14 of the world’s best sand sculptors will also face off against one another in the Sentosa International Sand Sculpting Championship, featuring various characters from Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and more! Try your hand at the cool art form yourself by registering for a free Sand Sculpting Workshop specially for kids age 5 and up! Make sure you stick around after sunset as there will be free movie screenings by the beach on the weekends.

Go wild with ACT 3 with workshops for kids and the whole family! A fun-filled journey of drama awaits at the academy, with one-session and five-day workshops available to provide an exciting, engaging and nurturing time during the holidays. Storytelling is intertwined with drama activities and exercises in a warm and inviting environment as children are encouraged to develop creativity, language and speaking skills, as well as confidence and empathy. There will be also be a presentation to families after the workshops for children 3 years old and above.

Whether it’s sports, farming in the city, art or food, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy at AIA Family Fest! The SSCC Experience Workshop by The Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir
Got a little one with a passion for singing? The Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir’s (SSCC) one-day choir camp is perfect for little songbirds ages 8 (born 2010) to 15! SSCC conductors will conduct vocal workshops to help budding singers discover their voices. They’ll get a chance to experience a day in the life of an SSCC singer and even have the opportunity to sing on stage at the iconic Victoria Concert Hall!

The Kids Network Netball Clinic
Have you heard, mama? Singapore is hosting the Asians Netball Championships 2018 this September! Twelve Asian nations – Singapore included! – will be competing for the championship title. In conjunction with the Championships, netball experts The Kids Network will be conducting a netball clinic for new or recreational players ages 7 to 12 to encourage movement and motor skills development. Participants will also get a free Child Day Pass (4 September) to catch all the netball action and cheer on our Singapore team!

Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention 2018
Cosplay and game lovers, this one’s for you: the two-day STGCC extravaganza will feature a fun-filled weekend packed with comics, games, toys, cosplay competitions and celebrity guests and personalities. Let your kids’ imaginations run wild at the Kids Cosplay Parade where they can strut their stuff dressed as whatever their little hearts desire. There will also be a SINGER® Sewing Company’s Experience Zone where you can create your own ensemble with up to 1,000 complimentary capes provided! Walk for Our Children 2018
Look forward to a fun Sunday morning with the fam at at Walk for Our Children 2018 organised by Singapore Children’s Society (read more about it here!). The free event returns with a safari-themed walkathon where little ones will be encouraged to dream big, stand tall and firm in their values and beliefs.
