As Sassy Mama’s Managing Editor, you will create content strategies and oversee their implementation processes. Your main duties will include managing a team of writers, editors and graphic designers, monitoring the results of various content campaigns, editing content pieces to ensure they follow tone and style guides and optimising copy for search engine optimisation.
Role:
-Plans, manages, and coordinates the site’s daily posts
-Overseas the Editorial Calendar, planning and scheduling all posts and ensuring the timely covering of topics, holidays, etc.
-Edits all posts and works with Editorial Team to schedule them on the backend
-Assigns topics to the various contributors and manages contribution pieces
-Writes weekly rounds ups/feature stories and advertorials
-Acts as main writer on the site as needed
-Determines the content line-up for the weekly newsletter
-Optimises copy for search engine optimisation
- Works with Marketing and Sales Teams on editorial promotions
-Drafts all advertorials based on detailed briefs
- Helps with Social Media

We’re on the hunt for someone creative and organised who is keen to create engaging family content. If you have an eye for detail and amazing writing skills we want to hear from you!

Candidate Requirements:
Reporting to the Managing Editor you will contribute story ideas, create engaging content, update existing posts and write original high-traffic content. We are looking for someone who has writing experience ideally in Singapore publishing or digital media and has an understanding of search and its role in driving traffic and engagement.
