Show 4, the fourth instalment in a series of live shows developed for the National Library Board’s information literacy campaign, S.U.R.E! Listen to leading experts in the field of science and mathematics discuss a wide range of topics, including how science is important in everyday life, what are the ways in which future scientists and researchers can look to establish themselves, and much more. Guest speakers include Nobel Prize in Physics recipient and theoretical physicist David Gross, Turing Award winner and theoretical computing giant Leslie Valiant, and Fields Medal recipient and pioneering mathematician Stephen Smale.

CNY Kids’ Fair at Loewen by Dempsey Hill
Block 71 Loewen by Demspey Hill gets a makeover this Chinese New Year as it hosts a Kids’ Fair and Fashion Extravaganza. There’ll be 20 or more carefully curated vendors with kids products and kids fashion. Many of these vendors import exclusive and original products and clothes from overseas, so you’re sure to discover many unique finds this CNY mama! Apart from an exclusive Kids’ Fashion Parade happening on Friday 22 January, you can also expect lion dance performances, a giant bubble show, carnival snacks and mascot appearances over the two-day extravaganza!
