How to Design Superheroes (6+ years)
16 and 24 March 4:30pm
Everyone loves superheroes! Catchy names, cool costumes, bright colours, and of course – always doing the right thing! Those catchy names and matching costumes are also the result of certain disciplines – how and where to place colours on a costume that harmonises with the character and his or her powers. This workshop will share with kids and parents the best techniques for applying colour pencils to any design. With a huge range of costume types to choose from, patrons will enjoy learning about how to choose an appropriate number of colours, and where to place them for maximum dynamism and contrast. And for those real super-fans, there will be an add-op option to have their design made into a real life Comicbook Cover Design!

30 & 31 March 3:30pm
Explore, experiment and simply experience with musicians in spontaneous musical play! Each session features live musicians as they explore creating meaningful sounds with babies.
The Painter’s Waltz (5-16 months)

This new take on some of our favourite waltzes is a multi-sensory dance performance for babies 5 to 16 months old. Join us as we transform a blank canvas into a picture of vibrant colour.
