Timmy & Tammy Discover Singapore Hawker Food – Storytelling by author Lianne Ong

Hawker centres are a common fixture in Singapore today, but did you know that these vibrant food hubs did not always exist here? Discover some favourite hawker dishes and popular ingredients in this engaging children’s storytelling session and teaser to the upcoming Packaging Matters exhibition in April!

Each session is limited to 30 children on a first come, first served basis. On-site registration starts from 2pm beside the drop-in craft station at the Glass Atrium, Level 2.

About the Storyteller:

Lianne Ong is a children’s author from Singapore. She is best known for her Stacey & the Museum series about museums in Singapore. Stacey Goes to the National Museum and Stacey Goes to the Peranakan Museum received the Second Prize award at the Samsung KidsTime Authors’ Awards 2015. Her new series, A Place for Us, is a six-title picture book series about special needs and will be released in 2019.
