SOTA presents a showcase of work, especially for those with an interest in music, visual arts and theatre!

Boom 7:30pm, 18 – 19 July 2019

Join SOTA Year 4 Theatre students as they explore the abridged adaptation of Boom; by award-winning playwright Jean Tay, who makes connections between the 99-year leasehold and 15-year bury-in policy in Singapore.

Cluster Fish 7:30pm, 23 – 24 July 2019

It’s P6. Through the eyes of Dee and her best friend Preeti, we look at what’s beneath the surface of school life during PSLE year. Written specially for upper primary school children, this play by Haresh Sharma  confronts the various pressures a primary school student faces.

For the first time ever, SOTA’s String and Voice Ensembles will join forces for an evening of joyful music-making! S(tr)ings features music by Vaughan Williams, Monteverdi, Elgar, and many others, plus a number of special arrangements of familiar favourites too!

The House of Bernarda Alba 7:30pm, 1 – 2 August 2019

Don’t miss this fresh adaptation of Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca’s final play written in 1936! Presented by SOTA Year 4 Theatre students, this powerful play performed by an all-female cast explores the themes of tyrannical leadership and female repression.
