Organised in conjunction with the Singapore River Festival, SR Signatures is an annual accolade that highlights the plethora of dining gems along the river. Initiated in 2015 as part of the Singapore River Festival, SR Signatures highlights the finest dishes along the River that tantalise your taste buds. Twenty mouth-watering dishes which have been handpicked by a panel of critics are awarded the annual accolade.
This year, Singapore River Festival has collaborated with HungryGoWhere to jointly award the best establishments alongside the three quays – Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, and Robertson Quay. The winners will be featured on the HungryGoWhere website along with exciting promotions on the winning dishes.
On board the panel of judges this year are Director of MissTamChiak.com, Maureen Ow (@misstamchiak); Director and Chef of Ownself Make Chef, Shen Tan (@chefshentan); Food Bloggers Rachel Chua (@foodgemsg) and Sihan Lee (@fundamentally_flawed). Familiar faces in the culinary scene, the four judges are trusted by the locals to dish out the best F&B spots around town. Fans and members of the public can stay tuned to their social media platforms as their unique personalities bring together an interesting variety of recommended restaurants.
The judges visited various F&B outlets across the three quays between July to August 2018. The four judges then narrowed down on their top five best-selling dishes at the restaurants based on criteria such as taste, creativity and plating.
