The Power of Stories
Saturday, 3 November 2018, 3pm – 4.30pm
Level 5, Imagination Room, National Library Building
Stories have the unique ability to transform how we see the world and other people. A good story can draw us intimately into experiences and worlds we would otherwise know only from the outside. Join authors Tan Guan Heng (My Love is Blind), Grace Phua (Mommy, Can You Hear Me?) and Eva Wong Nava (Open: A Boy’s Wayang Adventure) as they talk about the inspiration and process behind their books, and discuss how stories can be a catalyst for transforming the way we see people with disabilities.
