Following two widely acclaimed four hands collaboration last month, JAAN continues to bring international culinary talent to our little red dot with one of the season’s most compelling culinary collaborations; Germany-based, 3 Michelin starred Joachim Wissler will be helming the JAAN kitchen alongside Chef Kirk Westaway for an unforgettable, unprecedented four hands experience.
Hailing from Bergisch Gladbach, the pioneer of New German Cuisine Chef Joachim helms the globally acclaimed Vendôme restaurant at Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg, where he is the only chef in the district to have earned the coveted three Michelin star status. At Vendôme, Chef Joachim breaks away from the influences that traditionally shape his country’s cuisine and this October, he will be bringing his reimagined, sophisticated regional fare from Germany to Southeast Asia’s fine-dining capital.
The four hands dinner sees the chefs combine their passion, creativity and shared love for fresh seasonal produce and menu innovation featuring signature dishes such as Chef Kirk’s Line Caught Turbot with flavourful purple artichoke purée and Chef Joachim’s Langoustine and Sweet potato with a refreshing carrot lime nage.
