A one-stop winter adventure beckons at the upcoming ICE MAGIC park and The Whimsical Candy Playground from 1 February to 24 March next year. Inspired by Disney’s hugely popular ‘FROZEN – The Exhibition’, which has been held in various cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Macau, Hong Kong and Taiwan, the park has been designed as an immersive, interactive and experiential journey into a dreamlike winter wonderland for adults and children alike.
One of the key attractions is a sub-zero snow zone featuring more than 600 tonnes of fresh, powdery snow. Visitors will experience the magic of snowfall, gaze at magnificent ice sculptures, start a snowball fight and have a go at winter sports including snow-ski, snowboarding and bumper cars-on-ice. There will be separate ski slopes for children and adults, ensuring good, safe fun for everyone.
Of course, no winter scene is complete without the classic skating rink. Visitors can breathe in the crisp cold air and take in the shimmering lights, before leaving their dignity at the door and taking a spin (or a tumble) on the ice rink. Visitors can explore the candy-themed village reminiscent of a little elvish town bustling with yuletide joy, boasting a tantalising chocolate exhibition featuring the beloved Magical Carousel, a Giant English Chess Set and much more. The titular attraction,
The Whimsical Candy Playground, is indeed whimsy at its best, suspending reality with its life-sized treats that will elicit unbridled shrieks of excitement from every tiny tot. Over on the other side of the park, Avatar meets Alice In Wonderland in The Magic Forest, which is mysterious, surreal and breathtaking all at once. Visitors will find themselves surrounded with luminescent mushrooms, ethereal creatures and glowing candy houses. After all the eye candy (literally!) inspiration, parents and children can channel their inner Willy Wonka at the creative dessert workshop, cooking up luscious treats and nibbles out of sugar, spice and everything nice.
At the heart of the event is an emphasis on togetherness and celebration, creating a family treasure trove of shared magical moments for many more festivities to come.
