Time: 11am – 3pm
It is time for us to unite and put our hearts together, as we celebrate International Women’s Day! Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death for women worldwide. In 2017, 28.2% of women died from CVD in Singapore, which accounts for about 1 out of 3 female deaths. To celebrate the success and progress of women this International Women’s Day, the Go Red for Women Luncheon 2019 follows the theme of “Celebrate Women, Celebrate Life”, serving as a reminder for women to take care of their hearts.
Organised by the Singapore Heart Foundation, the luncheon will include a healthy 4-course lunch, along with health talks by healthcare experts from National University Heart Centre Singapore (NUHCS). The experts will be sharing more on the prevalence of CVD, the impact of the disease on women and tips on how to make positive changes towards a more heart-healthy lifestyle.
Participants will also walk away with a heart-healthy themed gift bag and stand a chance to win attractive prizes from the lucky draw!
