Book Launch: Make Animals Great Again and Other Creature Campaigns

Post Category - Learn + GrowLearn + Grow

Saturday 16 November

Ideal for avid readers aged 9 and up—and for animal lovers and the young at heart everywhere – Make Animals Great Again looks at what happens when the animals have to elect a new leader. There are many candidates, but who will be the best animal for the job? What values should they look for in a leader? Written by author Maureen Yeo and illustrated by That Mama Gracie Chai, this book celebrates biodiversity in Singapore.

Held at the lobby of the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, the book launch will be an afternoon of educational fun for young and old alike! An excerpt from the book will be read by the Players Theatre, and there will be an animal trivia quiz where children stand to win animal stickers. Plus National Geographic award-winning wildlife photographer Jayaprakash Bojan will also present some of his best photos and share his experiences.

Book orders can be placed here. Those ordering 1 or more books received discounted entry to the Natural History Museum, and those who order 5+ books will receive a guided tour by Maureen Yeo herself!
