Inspired by its latest exhibition, Floating Utopias, ArtScience Museum is offering an exciting line-up of films, programmes and activities during August.
Stand Up and Speak Out! Friday 16 & 30 August, 4:30 – 5:30pm
A workshop that explores the endless possibilities of inflatables, Stand Up and Speak Out! looks at how inflatables play a role in addressing important topics such as climate change and bullying. Stand Up and Speak Out! runs in parallel with Floating Utopias. Using recycled materials and simple tools, visitors will create an inflatable sculpture and stage a peaceful march inside the Museum to create awareness and spread their message.
$5 per participant, availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be booked here.
Museo Aero Solar Drop-in Workshop Saturday 31 August, 2 – 6pm
Head to the museum’s Rainbow Room and contribute to the making of the collective artwork, Museo Aero Solar, before it launches at Marina Barrage on 7 September. Bring your own recycled plastic bags and become part of the Museo Aero Solar community. Participants will be cutting the recycled plastic bags and putting them together to help create a large colourful flying sculpture.
Free, drop-in workshop.
