Expect multi-sensory festive shopping at honestbee’s cool new concept store

Christmas shopping has never been this fun! habitat by honestbee, honestbee‘s brand new, tech-integrated, multi-sensory grocery and dining concept, is offering all things Christmas at their cool new space in Pasir Panjang this festive season. Decked out with over 20,000 unique grocery items and over 15 new food and beverage concepts, habitat by honestbee offers a seamless, cashless experience. Both online and offline purchases are available, and the eats on offer include goodies like fresh grain bowls, grilled meats straight from the butchery, Japanese soufflé pancakes and homemade kombuchas. It’s truly an all-in-one space for more than just groceries, mama!

This festive season, they’re kicking off the Lobsters, Oysters, Wines & Spirits Festival (8 – 26 December), which will boast enriching workshops for kids, an array of seasonal grocery specials, yummy dishes and supersized gifts!

Kid-friendly Activities

Giant Gingerbread House for Kids to Explore
Standing at almost four metres high, the Gingerbread Christmas Set in the habitat by honestbee space will be hard to miss! The first 200 customers will get to pick a Christmas candy ornament to adorn the exterior of the gingerbread house with macarons, sweets, gummy bears, jellybeans and marshmallows. Take a peek inside and spot the life-sized gingerbread men!

The best part? You can take your own set home for just $15. The Gingerbread Christmas Set includes a gingerbread cookie, Christmas-themed drink, honestbee plushie, festive gift tag and festive wrapping paper.

Workshops for both mamas and kids for a special DIY Christmas
Other kid-friendly fun includes crafting workshops for Christmas-themed floral centrepieces by Far East Flora and Reindeer Cork Making, where little ones can upcycle old wine corks into a new plaything! Here’s the workshop schedule:

Lobsters & Oysters
It wouldn’t be a Lobsters, Oysters, Wines & Spirits Festival without lobsters or oysters! Expect live Boston lobsters starting at just $19.90, and not one, not two, but up to 10 types of fresh oysters including Irish and Canadian varieties priced from $1.70 per oyster! Not keen on cooking your own lobster, mama? Leave it to the chefs to grill your lobster on the Josper grill at an additional fee of $8. That’s dinner sorted!

Seasonal in-store Dining & Festive Takeaways
After a day of grocery shopping, you don’t have to go far to take a breather – make a pit stop at the many F&B booths to try the seasonal dining options! Eats on the menu include 12-hour braised Truffle Beef Short Ribs Fettuccine, Middle Eastern-inspired Lamb cutlets with Ras El Hanout, Honey Glazed Gammon Ham, and vegetarian Eggplant Moussaka.

Be sure to finish it all off with Candy Wonderland (a Hong Kong original egglet waffle dessert with strawberry and salted caramel crisp pearl and caramel sauce), or a Pop Shake (Häagen-Dazs vanilla milkshake, pop rock candy and rainbow sprinkles). Treats for adults and kiddos alike!
