Universal Studios Singapore because legendary children’s show Sesame Street is celebrating 50 amazing years of educating and delighting kiddos in 2019! The Sesame Street: 50 Years and Counting Celebration is on from now through 28 April 2019. Check out our video for a quick peek at all the fun special events happening over the next month:

Among the highlights parents and kiddos can look forward to:

• Interactive shows and exhibits featuring much-loved characters like Elmo and Cookie Monster
• The Sesame Street Birthday Blowout show with festive pop songs
• A visit to Big Bird’s Nest
• Abby’s Fairy Garden (photo op included!)
• Welcome special guest Lily the Tiger from China (and pick up some Mandarin from her!)
• Exclusive Sesame Street collectible pins (free with a minimum spend at Universal Studios Singapore)

In addition, nostalgic parents will love taking a walk down Sesame Street – you can even pose on the stoop at #123! – and exploring Bert & Ernie’s apartment. (We doubly loved both of these features, plus additional arts & crafts activities, because the area is air conditioned!)

Also keep an eye out for Oscar the Grouch trash cans throughout Universal Studios Singapore and the RWS Forum. If you snap any photo of an Oscar trash can, post it to Instagram with the hashtag #ss50xuss, then tag and follow @RWSentosa, RWS will donate a very generous $5 per post to the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), plus you’ll stand a chance to win attractive prizes!
