Sassy Mama is thrilled to support the upcoming HeForShe Impact Awards, which are all about promoting gender equality in our community. Here’s how you can nominate people!

Whether in the workplace, at home, or out and about in Singapore, is there a man or woman who’s made a difference in your life, mama? Consider nominating him or her for the inaugural HeForShe Impact Awards, an exciting new initiative from the Singapore Committee for UN Women.

Inspired by the HeForShe Campaign, which UN Ambassador Emma Watson launched in 2014 as a global solidarity movement for gender equality, the awards seek to recognise men and women that are active promoters of gender equality in the workplace and at home.

Perhaps your company has made sure to enact family-friendly policies in the office, or the manager of your favourite restaurant has created a pro-breastfeeding environment. Whatever it is, these awards are meant to recognise individuals who have taken inspiring steps through their everyday actions that result in positive change for the community. There’s even a category for deserving spouses and partners!
